Delta Airlines receives it's first 787-8

Boeing delivered to Delta Airlines, the Atlanta based carrier's first 787 Dreamliner on Wednesday. The carrier has ordered a total of 18 787-8 aircraft.

Delta Airlines received its first 787 from Boeing, the aircraft N787DL will go to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Friday 22 where a ceremony will be held in Concourse A or Concourse E. There will be delays lasting up to an hour. Delta Airline's 787 will fly around the world each ticket will cost $430 for economy and $1,000 for first class. Tickets will be sold from delta's website.

  1. An hour delay???? Interrupt Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport concourse A or E for an hour for a ceremony, Its delta's first 787 but its not worth interrupting parts of ATL for an hour.
